Adelaide

Fritz Wunderlich, Hubert Giesen

Selected Beethoven songs, including Adelaide. mid-1960s

Top choice. A highlighted version from his famous Dichterliebe recital. Wunderlich's sweet, honeyed tone goes perfectly with the idealistic youthfulness of the song.
