A Midsummer Night's Dream (Incidental Music) & Hebrides Overture

Felix Mendelssohn

Peter Maag / London Symphony Orchestra

late 1950s Excellent Decca sound.

The old classic. Maag had a great sense of pacing and was a great Mendelssohn conductor. The LSO plays beautifully. Wonderfully paced, everything you could want.
